This was originally supposed to be an image for GoNintendo Podcast pre-E3, but I wound up being ambitious, and it turned into a project that spanned several days of drawing, redrawing, planning and rearranging.

The concept was to create a Hype Train carrying all of Nintendo’s franchises and IPs up until this point, leading into the introduction of a new Zelda and potentially a brand new IP by Miyamoto himself.

Unfortunately, due to the way I set up the image, I ran out of room. I could, in theory, do some moving around, but I wanted to get this done before Nintendo’s E3 conference and that would’ve taken up too much time, so I settled on what I had done, FOR NOW. I do hope to get back to it and add more franchises. I didn’t make it to the most recent consoles, so no Wii, 3DS/eShop, WiiWare, Wii U franchises are represented aside from Mii.

There are over 70 different classic games from Game & Watch up through Nintendo DS in this drawing, showing off Nintendo’s diversity and my inability to articulate some of it. I hope someone out there enjoys this, even though it’s literally being posted at the last minute.

In any case, for those who care, it is decently sized for some older/smaller monitors. It’s designed to be used as a desktop, but outside of my crappy old one, I don’t know if it will look good on many.

Been a long time, huh?

Here is a collection of GoNintendo Podcast pictures I’ve done from December through May that I forgot to upload.

Some of these were drawn with Art Academy: Sketchpad.

Enjoy!

The final part of my December art, all Animal Crossing New Leaf. It has a lot of Snowmen. And love blooming on the battlefield.

Part 2 of 3 of my December artwork. Primarily Ocarina of Time, A Link Between Worlds and some assorted 3DS games, NES Remix (Wii U) and a collection of posts I did on my Activity Feed ‘longways’.

Don’t forget to fullview to see the entire artwork for all the posts!

BY THE WAY, the ALBW art has spoilers. It’s near the bottom, before the assorted games & longways art.

One last part. It will feature just Animal Crossing: New Leaf art.

Make sure to click on the pictures to fullview all of the posts!

Continuing from November, here’s a compilation of Miiverse Posts from December. These span across The Wind Waker, NES Remix, Virtual Console games, Dr. Luigi, and more, as well as various 3DS games due to the Miiverse coming to that.

Because there are so many drawings I did in December, I had to split this up. This post focuses on Wii U drawings, while the next one will focus on 3DS.

Sick/Christmas/New Year

I know nobody looks at this blog, but I was going full blast on the Pokemon Challenge for a week then stopped abruptly.

I got sick immediately after a few of them and busy most of the rest of the days (went to NYC, been out getting Christmasy things, having gatherings, Christmas, New Year prep, etc). It’s been a weird December. Felt like it flew, and I feel like I didn’t really get to do a LOT of things I wanted to, not just the art meme.

I’m going to have to call it quits in terms of keeping up with this. Maybe one day I’ll just do the rest and make it a single piece, but yeah. Sucks. :|

ALSO! As you may notice, I made a Christmas-themed avatar. Enjoy.

Week 1 of the Pokemon December Challenge.

Favorite Bug, Dark, Dragon, Electric, Fairy, Fighting & Fire.

A year ago, I sat down one night and drew a bunch of random stuff that came to mind for 3 hours one night, resulting in an image found here.
This is a sequel of sorts. Unlike the original, which was entirely just whatever came to mind, this is more focused on things that are vaguely current or things I was playing recently. It’s still kinda all over the place, but less ‘series’ represented. A lot of the things here take up a lot of space or are represented a lot, but others you may have to look a little harder for.You can find some Zelda, Pokemon, The Walking Dead, general Nintendo, general Christmas, Luigi, Halo, Bioshock Infinite, Persona, Parasite Eve, TMNT, Game Grumps/Starbomb, Darker Than Black, EarthBound, Borderlands and most importantly a drawing of Danny Wells, the actor who portrayed Luigi on the Super Mario Super Show, who just recently passed away. R.I.P. D:Also, the girl on the right of Santa is original. I was originally drawing Cortana, and the face came out really cool and I didn’t want to waste it on her, and just made generic clothes (which is also a waste). I am interested in exploring that style.Anyway, enjoy.

So I got a Wii U for my birthday (Nov.17). My NNID is frothyjazz54.

I already had NSLU back in August (can’t turn down that green box and Nintendo World Store release party), but I got the Zelda Wii U bundle (I also have DuckTales and a few VC releases like EarthBound, but haven’t touched them much yet), so I’ve been taking to the Miiverse with tons of screenshots and drawing pictures to go with them.

Here’s a collection of all of the drawings I made on the Miiverse in November, out of context (without the photos they’re connected to) for Tumblr to enjoy.

The Grimer & Halo pics were drawn on my Activity Feed. Halo was for beating the original Trilogy. Grimer was because, well, Grimer.

This was intended for a podcast, but ultimately didn’t get used this week. It’s also a vague Thanksgiving nothing.
It intentionally does not actually reference Thanksgiving. The idea I had going in was Hyrule having some Turkey-esque Cucco for Thanksgiving dinner and the consequences similar to when you attack Cuccos in-game.Been playing/replaying a lot of Zelda lately. Specifically, A Link Between Worlds, The Wind Waker HD (Hero Mode) & Oracle of Ages (on 3DS), going back & forth between them. Also, I made a point to not have this Link stick to any specific style. He’s got colorization from ALBW art, but I gave him elements of Majora’s Mask Link (specifically, the boots and his Razor Sword). Also, he looks like Charlie Brown.Anyway, happy belated Thanksgiving for those that care, and also, just enjoy some Link/Zelda fanart.
